How it works
Crowd Link is a free online party game for 3 to 50 players. Each round shows two words, and every player secretly types the word that links them. You score a point for every other player who wrote the same answer, so the goal is to think like the group. Players join in their phone's browser with a room code — no app, no account — which makes it work for game nights, Discord and Zoom calls, classrooms and Twitch streams.
-
Open a room
The host signs in once and gets a six-letter room code. Friends join from their phones with the code, the link or a QR code — just a name and a colour.
-
Find the missing link
Two words appear. Everyone secretly types the word that connects them. It's about reading the room, not typing fast: the host picks a relaxed timer, from 30 seconds to 2 minutes.
-
Match the crowd
Answers are revealed group by group, from the lone weirdos to the biggest match. One point for every player who wrote the same word as you.
The twist: forbidden words
Some prompts ban the obvious answer. Winter + Carrot — but you can't write Snowman. Now the whole room has to agree on the second most obvious thing. Nose? Soup? Good luck.

For Twitch and YouTube
Play with your whole chat
Up to 50 viewers join from their phones with the code on screen. You stay in control of what goes on air.
-
A screen made for OBS
Add the stream screen as a browser source: prompt, progress and reveal in 1080p, without your host controls.
-
Nothing on air you didn't choose
Answers stay hidden on stream until you show them. Drop anything that mustn't be seen — it's never shown and counts as no answer.
-
Safe names
Players appear as names like “Sleepy Otter”. Your own name stays visible, so viewers know they're in the right room.
-
Room control
Lock the room when it's full of the right people, kick trolls in one go, and just host without playing if you prefer.
On the couch, on Discord, in a classroom
Game nights
Put the room on the TV or just play on phones. Three players is enough; the bigger the group, the better the reveals.
Discord, Zoom and Teams calls
Share the link in your Discord server or work call and screen-share the room. One round takes a couple of minutes and gets everyone talking.
Groups up to 50
Classrooms, clubs and parties: everyone plays at once on their own phone, and every player sees their own place on the leaderboard.

Questions
Is Crowd Link free?
Yes. You can host and play with the Classic pack for free. More packs will be available as optional extras; players never pay.
Do players need an account or an app?
No. Players open the link or type the room code in their phone's browser and pick a name. Only the host signs in, with Twitch or Google.
How many people can play?
From 3 to 50 players per room. The host can play along or just run the game.
How long does a game take?
You choose 10, 20 or 50 rounds. A round usually takes one to three minutes: the host sets the answering time, from 30 seconds to 2 minutes.
Can I play it on stream?
Yes — it's built for it. Add the stream screen to OBS, keep answers hidden until you show them, give players safe names, and lock or clean up the room at any time.
How is Crowd Link different from Jackbox or Kahoot?
Kahoot is a quiz: there is one right answer and the fastest player wins. Crowd Link has no right answers and no rush — you score by writing what everyone else writes. Like Jackbox, everyone plays on their own phone with a room code; unlike most Jackbox games, one room holds up to 50 players, it runs in the browser with nothing to buy or install, and the Classic pack is free.
Which devices does it work on?
Any recent phone, tablet or computer with a web browser. Nothing to install.
